I was walking back from my neighbourhood Starbucks to my house through a mall parking lot. As I passed between to cars towards the mall a dog in a Dodge Carvan started barking at me through the van’s tinned windows. If the intensity of the the barking and the scraping of the dog’s paws on the window were any greater I probably would have shit my pants! The fact that I had just finished a big cup of coffee probably didn’t help matters any. One should really try to more aware of their surroundings when walking and catching up on twitter on their mobile phone.

On my walk this evening I stopped by Tim Hortons. Since it was pretty hot outside, I figured I would have an iced coffee . The girl serving me at the till asked me if I was sure that I didn’t want any cream or sugar in my iced coffee. From her initial reaction, I gathered she probably doesn’t see that order very often.
Last year I would have never considered having one. Over the last year I have been drinking more coffee per week than in previous years. A lot of the time I don’t finished my cup of coffee until later in the day. Needless to say I am now used to cold coffee.
First post on my third try at maintaining a blog. Will have to just have to wait and see how this turns out.
